Every yarn ball YarnMellow Butterfly is made in the Bohemian Paradise and we now make so many that we are the largestin this field in the Czech Republic. We join the strands by hand and thanks to our unique technology every ball is like the next – firmly wound, with regular colour transitions and almost invisible knots.
Several times a year we come up with new collections and we combine the colours so that the result is perfect.

How much yarn you will need for a women's long-sleeved sweater
The values below are approximate. Actual consumption depends on the chosen pattern, tension, needle or hook size and the desired length. One Butterfly yarn ball is 1500 metres; for the sleeves you will need about 1000 metres (you can use two Butterfly Mini). From one 1500 m ball you can crochet a long vest – you will find the pattern HERE.

Can I start from any colour?
Yes. The ball is firm and can be unwound from both ends.
What does three-strand mean?
Three threads running loosely side by side, not twisted. The result is light and fluffy.
What if I run out of a little yarn to finish?
Just write to us and we will wind you a ball in the exact shade.
How do I add a lurex thread?
Choose gold, silver or the colour of the yarn ball and we will make the yarn ball to order. The lurex is coloured and creates a light heathered effect in the ball that looks absolutely amazing!
