The handmade rainbow yarn ball from the Bohemian Paradise by the YarnMellow brand is 1200 metres long and weighs around 215 grams. It is made of yarn with a composition of 50% cotton and 50% acrylic. The material is certified for use for children up to 3 years. We recommend using a hook or needles of size 3.5. The ball is very firm and you can start unwinding it from both ends, depending on which colour you want to begin with.

The yarn ball is a so-called three-strand yarn, so it is wound from 3 separate threads. These threads are not twisted together but run loosely side by side. Even so, the yarn is excellent to work with. Items will be light and airy. From one yarn ball you can make a really large shawl, a dress for girls or a skirt for ladies. It can also be used for summer pram blankets and the like. We recommend hand washing items up to 40 °C, drying flat, not bleaching, not ironing and not putting them in the tumble dryer.

Every yarn ball is an original because they are wound in the Czech Republic, by hand and with love. For this reason small knots may appear in the ball (not only at the colour transition), but they are almost invisible in the finished item. Delivery time for these yarn balls can be up to 7 days.
