How to make your home cosier with an original accessory in exactly the colour you need? Easily! With this tutorial even a complete crochet beginner can do it. You can then put a flower pot, dried flowers, soft toys or even toiletries in the basket.
You will need Berry 3 mm cotton cord (one skein makes about 2 baskets)
5 mm crochet hook - we recommend a metal one

Written pattern to print (US crochet terms, sc = single crochet):
- Round – Magic ring, work 1 sc into it and mark it with the stitch marker, then work 5 more sc into the magic ring – 6 sc in total. Continue in a spiral.
- Round – Remove the marker, work 1 sc into this stitch of the previous round, mark it, and work one more sc into the same stitch. Pull the magic ring tight, then work 2 sc into every stitch of the previous round.
- Round – Remove the marker, work 1 sc into this stitch of the previous round, mark it, and work one more sc into the same stitch. Continue: (1 sc, 2 sc in the next stitch) repeat 5 times, end with 1 sc.
- Round – Remove the marker, work 1 sc into this stitch of the previous round, mark it, and work one more sc into the same stitch. Continue: (2 sc, 2 sc in the next stitch) repeat 5 times, end with 2 sc.
- Round – Remove the marker, work 1 sc into this stitch of the previous round, mark it, and work one more sc into the same stitch. Continue: (3 sc, 2 sc in the next stitch) repeat 5 times, end with 3 sc.
- Round – Remove the marker, work 1 sc into this stitch of the previous round, mark it, and work two more sc into the same stitch. Work 1 sc into each of the other stitches of the previous round. From this round on, we only increase in the middle stitch of each group of 3 sc in one stitch.
- Round – Remove the marker, work 1 sc into this stitch of the previous round, mark it, work 3 sc into the next stitch of the previous round. Work 1 sc into each of the other stitches.
- Round – Remove the marker, work 1 sc into this stitch of the previous round, mark it, 1 sc, work 3 sc into the next stitch of the previous round. Work 1 sc into each of the other stitches.
- Round – Remove the marker, work 1 sc into this stitch of the previous round, mark it, 2 sc, work 3 sc into the next stitch of the previous round. Work 1 sc into each of the other stitches.
- Round – Remove the marker, work 1 sc into this stitch of the previous round, mark it, 3 sc, work 3 sc into the next stitch of the previous round. Work 1 sc into each of the other stitches.
- Round – Remove the marker, work 1 sc into this stitch of the previous round, mark it, 5 sc, chain 10, work 1 more sc into the same stitch the chain starts from, 11 sc, (sc 2 together) repeat 9 times, 5 sc. The chain stitches make the loop for hanging.
- Round – Remove the marker, 5 sc, skip 1 sc, work 12 sc under the chain stitches, skip 1 sc. Then work only slip stitches into every stitch of the previous round. Skip one stitch before the loop and work only slip stitches into the 12 stitches of the previous round that form the loop. Leave a longer tail so you can wrap it around the loop where you finished several times (for example 5 times), pull it tight and weave in the end.
Weave in the beginning of the yarn from the magic ring too, and you are done.
